Overview
Breathing Styles are swordsmanship styles that makes use of an esoteric breathing technique known as Total Concentration Breathing practiced and taught by members of the Demon Slayer Corps and are used in combat by Demon Slayers (later passed on as traditional dances post-time skip).

All known Breathing Styles currently taught within the Demon Slayer Corps are derived from Sun Breathing, the first one ever created. The majority of known Breathing Styles mimic a certain element of nature (i.e. flame, water and wind) and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques and abilities. The weapon attacks of Demon Slayers who use Breathing Styles are also longer ranged, possibly due to shockwaves or air pressure generated from their weapon itself when swinging and striking.

Requirements
To acquire Flame, Beast, Mist, Sound, Wind, Water, Thunder, Insect Breathing, or Snow breathing you will have to be a human, a demon unfortunately cannot get a breathing style, as for the requirements, They will have be level 12 and have at least 5,000 Wen. In some cases, you may actually require even more Wen or specific items. After becoming Level 12 and having 5,000 Wen, you must then find the trainer of your chosen breathing style. If you approach a trainer and you already have a breathing or if you are under level 12, they will say "Get out of my sight." As will many other NPC's in this game if you don't meet the requirements.
Starter World | Breathing Styles
WATER BREATHING:
Sakonji Urokodaki
In order to obtain Water Breathing you have to find Sakonji Urokodaki inside of the Waroru Cave

THUNDER BREATHING:
Jigoro Kuwajima
In order to obtain Thunder Breathing, you'll go to Jigoro Kuwajima located at Zapiwara Mountain.

Jinger
In order to obtain Wind Breathing, you must go to Jinger . He is the Wind Trainer.

Ouwohana | Breathing Styles
To obtain Flame, Beast, or Mist breathing in Ouwohana you'll need 10,000 Wen, level 75 or over and at least 150 demon horns. From there, you must then find the trainer of your chosen breathing style.

To obtain Snow Breathing, you will require 5000 Wen, 100 Demon Horns and Level 75, It was a easiest Breathing Style quest in Ouwohana.
Finally, To obtain Sound Breathing, you will require 13,000 Wen, 150 demon horns and level 75+. As of the recent Update 1.5.
Breath
Breathing is the fundamental and the cores of every breathing style, with no breath control you are unable to use your moves without recharging alot.
Weak Lungs: Weak Lungs are the level you start with when you join the game. Your maximum breath is very low at 75 and will drain very quickly. Breathing styles are not even worth using with Weak Lungs. However, you could upgrade them if you put in the work.
Strong Lungs: Strong Lungs are the second level. You now have 95 maximum breath and no longer drain breath, meaning breathing styles are actually usable, but still not that recommended. For Strong Lungs, you need to break a total of 3 large gourds (108 exp), 7 medium gourds (70 exp), and 7 small gourds (21 exp) They are found at the Butterfly Mansion. You will have 19/360 exp for Total Concentration Breathing, it will cost a total of 6,650 Wen; 2,100 Wen (3 Large Gourds) 3,150 Wen (7 Medium Gourds) and 1,400 Wen (7 Small Gourds)
Total Concentration Breathing: Total Concentration Breathing is the 3rd level. You have 115 breath and passively gain breath when not using skills. In early-game you should achieve this as soon as possible. For Total Concentration Breathing, You need to break 10 Large Gourds, this will cost 7,000 Wen (10x700) Meaning a total of 13,650 Wen is needed in order to go from Weak Lungs to Total Concentration Breathing. Good job!
Healing Total Concentration Breathing: Healing Total Concentration Breathing is the 4th level. You have 125 breath and gain the ability to use recovery breath and exponentially boost your regenerative capabilities similar to a Demon's. For Healing Total Concentration Breathing, you need to break 15 large gourds. This will cost 10,500 Wen (15x700). You're almost there!
Complete Total Concentration Breathing: Complete Total Concentration Breathing is the 5th level. You have 155 breath and dash rapidly while emitting visible aura that represents your breathing style, this boosts your physicality. The aura’s color depends on your current breathing style. For Complete Total Concentration Breathing, you need 1332 exp, aka 20 Large Gourds or 14,000 Wen (20x700). Perfect!

In order to go from Weak Lungs to Complete Total Concentration Breathing, you will need to get a total of 1,800 exp; 7 Small Gourds (21 exp) 7 Medium Gourds (70 exp) 48 Large Gourds (1,728 exp) This will cost you a total of 38,150 Wen; 7 Small Gourds (1,400 Wen) 7 Medium Gourds (3,150 Wen) and 48 Large Gourds (33,600 Wen) ever, you will be left over with 19 extra exp, if you don't want the extra exp and want to have exactly enough for Complete Total Concentration Breathing, do the following: 8 Small Gourds (24 exp) 12 Medium Gourds (120 exp) And 46 Large Gourds (1,656 exp) adding up to a total of 1,800 exp and costing 39,200 Wen.
